Treasurer, Norse of Nepal (NON)

I have been working as the treasurer for Norse of Nepal, a student organization here at Northern Kentucky University. As a treasurer, I have been maintaining the NON's budget and planning budget for the events NON organizes yearly. Starting this fall 2023 semester, I am excited to work as a Vice-President for the Organization.

STEM Peer Mentor

In the fall of 2022, I got an opportunity to work with the Center For Integrative Natural And Mathematics (CINSAM) at Northern Kentucky University where I represented the NKU STEM Departments and worked closely with the first year STEM students. Through mentoring and hosting events, we supported in building a friendly and supportive STEM community for NKU STEM students.

Ambassador,NKU College Of Informatics(COI)

As a COI Ambassador for NKU, I have had the opportunity to represent the student face of the COI at NKU , giving tours of Griffin Hall and speaking to prospective students about the various programs and opportunities available within the college. Through these activities, I have learned valuable leadership and communication skills, have developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the College of Informatics and the impact it has on our university community.

Research Assistant, PGET Department, NKU

I worked with fellow teammates on designing and executing experiments to investigate the effects of shock on semiconductor materials, demonstrating a strong understanding of experimental design and data collection which resulted in better photoelectric effects. We interpreted experimental results and drew conclusions about the behavior of semiconductor materials under various shock conditions.

Models to predict Global Solar Radiation

I worked with other researchers on developing models that uses basic available metereological parameters such as Temperature, Sunshine hours, Humidity and Pressure to predict the Global Solar Radiation with high accuracy. The models can be used in different places with similar climatic conditions to that of the palces we did the models for. We used Origin and Excel for analytics and Visualization.
